Responsibilities
- Manage system software (including installation, maintenance and monitoring).
- Knowledge on NonStop patching & upgrades for OS, Utilities and firmware updates.
- Knowledge on Guardian Operating System and utilities (such as SCF, SAFECOM, FUP, PATHWAY, TMF, PERUSE, SPOOLCOM, NETBATCH/BATCHCOM, MEDIACOM, BACKUP/RESTORE)
- Knowledge on HPE NonStop network I/O Adapter, WAN, TCPIP and IP CLIM.
- Basic knowledge on HPE NonStop Security tools, such as Xygate/Access Control, Xygate/Merged Audit, Xygate/Password Quality and Xygate/Safeguard manager
- Basic knowledge on Base24 classic, Base24eps, XPNET, Goldengate and Prognosis
- Basic knowledge on customized tuning to ensure resources are effectively used and balance.
- Monitor the system on an ongoing basis to ensure all service level objective are achieved.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with HPE NonStop systems administration is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
