Location: East
Responsibilities
- Source for material sources, capacity, capability or processing methods to meet business requirements, specifications, quality and cost objectives.
- Negotiate the trading terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve and exceed cost saving and margin improvement targets.
- Review sales and margin trends by product/vendor for strategic product/vendor management decision making and continuous cost improvement.
- Set base prices by SKU, set and review pricing discounts in accordance with agreed trading margins.
- Set up and regularly review product categories and item classification in the ERP.
- Conduct supplier audit, drive supplier performance, develop and maintain supplier relationships and manage supplier agreements to achieve win-win situations between suppliers and company.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand and meet business needs.
- Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in sourcing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
