Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Design and modelling of aircraft mechanical systems and avionics for use in pilot training
- Developing software models that incorporate mock-up aircraft cockpit switches and indicators, mechanisation logic, aircraft states, displays to the pilot, and the 3D-rendering engine
- Reviewing of aircraft and pilot manuals, and engaging in discussions with aircrew, to ensure that the aircraft simulation is realistic, and of a high fidelity
- There may be required visits to a hangar or aircraft lab, to understand how various avionics function
- Overseas travel for training, meetings or deployment is expected
- Adopting the various software development tools and software frameworks that the company project team uses
- Generating engineering documentation within the team, to document the various requirements, design, and test areas to be developed
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or computer sciences.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Windows and Linux is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
