Location: North
Responsibilities
- Consults on system architectures, assess technical requirements and competencies needed during quoting and oversee design progressions during product developments.
- Obtains and categorizes information from equivalent products on potential use failure modes of product.
- Provides technical inputs to help identify and solve project risks that may affect overall project plans and schedules.
- Conduct product feasibility studies, define system architectures and solutions, and create execution plan for new product development.
- Analyze product features requirements, dimension and weight, performance and cost to determine project feasibility.
- Analyze the interrelationships between models, functional priorities, implementation, and environmental implications of system requirements.
- Recommend repair or design modifications of electronics components or systems, based on factors such as environment, service, cost, or system capabilities.
- Develop or perform operational, maintenance, or testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, or systems.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience using CAD tools (e.g. Cadence Allegro, Mentor PAD or Altium).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
