SENIOR STEEL STRUCTURAL MANAGER ($8000-$10,000/AWS/VB)ref: DC

$10K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: Central

Responsibilities

• Oversees subordinates and contractors comply to with company policies, plans, procedures, and work instructions
• Conducts subordinate performance assessment according to target and goal defined and approved to review staff development and performance review
• Provides guidance and reviews tactical strategies established for steelwork execution
• Organises discussion to review methodology to streamline steelwork execution
• Promotes continual improvement program in the department
• Compiles, reviews, and analyses monthly defined KPIs versus target KPIs set by Department
• Reviews Hull shop activities with the manager and look into tools/equipment condition, and resource allocation to plan for steelwork
• Establishes and endorses WSH Policy at the workplace by coordinating, and implementing the HSEQ system into department function and evaluating effectiveness by taking part in the internal audit program

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Steel structure experience in a shipyard setting is a plus.
• Energetic, flexible and innovative
