Location: North
Responsibilities
- Work with the Investment department to perform periodic Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Controls Testing and Quality Assurance Reviews, and recommend enhancements on the adequacy of the design of internal controls and processes.
- Provide second-line approvals on Investment Management Agreements (IMAs), Investment Portfolios Guidelines, new instruments/ETFs/funds, and other requests from the Investment department.
- Participate in regular due diligence reviews and evaluate External Fund Managers.
- Review investment performance reporting and respective Investment standard operating procedures (SOP) on a regular basis.
- Review the Investment Compliance Charter, policies and procedures.
- Assess, disseminate and advice on regulations applicable to investment activities.
- Review and assess investment regulatory breaches and maintain the Investment Breach Register.
- Incident notification, assessment and reporting (to internal stakeholders and regulators) for investment related activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations, notices and guidelines with respect to Fund Management and Insurance Investments is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
