SENIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER ($8500-$9500/AWS/VB)ref: AK

$9500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: West

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot automation related issues in manufacturing operations. Participate or lead quality or safety investigations and implement any automation solutions resultant from these investigations.
• Participate as automation representative in day to day operations involving facilities, utilities and equipment.
• Provide training to end users on process control system
• Perform system level Preventive Maintenance. Identify and address issues at recipe level as well as interfaces with other systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities on Process Control System in conjunction with vendors
• Identify and address fundamental software issues across the Process Control System through knowledge management system
• Identify and address complex system level / architecture level issues and get these accepted by global sites
• Actively attain knowledge of process unit operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical / Electrical / Instrumentation and Control Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in process automation system,  DeltaV is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
