Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Assess the risk of new projects and the impact of adopting new technologies such as open-source software, on-boarding managed services and SaaS solutions, and extending the perimeter of the environment to restricted geographies
- Contribute to the development of the security strategy
- Oversight the implementation of security controls in cloud and on-prem systems
- Continually evaluate the design of security controls, manage residual risks, and oversee remediation plans
- Participate in compliance reviews
- Scope, plan and analyze vulnerability scans relating to various technologies, systems, appliances, and contexts
- Collaborate with internal technology teams to prioritize mitigation actions based on risks associated with each vulnerability
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of malware, hacking techniques and security trends is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
