QUANTITY SURVEYOR (M&E) ($3000-$4200/AWS/VB)ref: AK

$4200 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: East

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full suite of M&E Quantity Surveyor duties, from tender to pre-contract, post contract administration duties such as: review of contracts, quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities, sourcing and selecting of subcontractors, particularly for M&E disciplines
• Contract / Sub Contract administration, preparation of progress claims, variation orders, verifying subcontractor / suppliers claims
• Responsible for material order processing and cost control
• Evaluate and process vendors claims
• Prepare monthly progress claims for submission to consultants in timely manner
• Finalise project accounts with clients and vendors
• Maintain proper inventory control
• Any other duties as assigned by Contracts Director / Manager

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient technical knowledge – measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts and law is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
