Location: North
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal and 3rd Party Warehouse to ensure all incoming raw materials and incoming packaging materials are sampled and inspected according to requirement
- Prepare and conduct sensory evaluation of incoming raw materials to ensure sensory profile (taste, colour and appearance) meets specification.
- Prepare and conduct sensory evaluation of finished goods to ensure sensory profile (taste, colour and appearance) meets specification.
- Prepare and conduct physical-chemical analysis of incoming raw materials (e.g. slip melting point, pH)
- Assist in the sampling of raw materials for shelf-life extension request.
- To monitor the quality of the shelf-life extended raw materials on a monthly basis.
- Management of QC retention samples to ensure samples are received according to sampling plan and expired items are disposed timely and space is sufficient to accommodate samples of upcoming production.
- Handle and manage customer’s pre-shipment samples request from Sales/Customer Service.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Food Science and Technology/Microbiology or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Food Industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
