PROCUREMENT ENGINEER ($3000-$5000/AWS/VB)ref: SH

$5K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: North

Responsibilities

• Lead in product transfer and new product introduction.
• Accountable for supplier selection, development and strategies alliances
• Responsible for the development and implementation procurement cost reduction and vendor managed inventory program.
• Handle and manage RFQ/RFP, commercial evaluations, price negotiations, PO/Contract awards and PO/Contract administration to final delivery and PO/Contract close out – Ensuring that the Company’s best interest is consistently achieved
• Ensure that the procurement process is in adherence to Company and Client requirements, Company policies and procedures
• Build and develop relationships with Suppliers and Contractors, manage relationships and build effective partnerships
• Monitor and review market conditions, price and delivery trends for project materials, equipment and works
• Ensure that the monthly procurement reports and cost saving / cost avoidance statistics are reported on-time to the Procurement Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ERP/CRM system such as IFS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
