Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall operations in Ocean Freight to ensure the services are perform to service requirement.
- Responsible for staff planning in terms of workload distribution, team building and facilitate training relevant to Ocean freight operations.
- Implement key performance indicators to monitor staff and department operations efficiency.
- Communicate with Customs, Port Authorities and Shipping Lines to ensure operations are accordance to the company’s policies local legislation regulations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to maintain good customer relationship management.
- Responsible for the accuracy and timely performance in billing and job costing in Ocean Operations.
- Perform vendors service and contract evaluations.
- Other additional tasks assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or other relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Cargowise system and Freight Pricing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
