Location: North
Responsibilities
- Sourcing for supply meeting cost, quality, technology and delivery
- Work with stake holders on supplier selection, supplier qualification, price negotiation, supplier risk management
- Work with stake holders on supplier development, building relationship and supplier performance management
- Work on current and new product start-up program as the focus person to roll-up cost. Have good understanding of cost models and cost drivers.
- In-depth knowledge of materials selection, technology roadmap and supply resiliency initiatives.
- Work with supplier to optimise costs through value engineering
- Review drawings, specifications and Bill of Materials clean-up.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Sourcing/Purchasing / Merchandising/ Procurement is a plus.
- Good communication and negotiation skill
