Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and attend to repair works/ breakdown works on assigned vessels.
- Carry out general overhaul, top overhaul and service of engine and marine equipment.
- Carry out routine oil change, filter cleaning and maintenance workers as directed
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on assigned vessels.
- Ensure all repair workers carried out by contractors comply with regulatory codes, specifications and company guidelines.
- To work independently to execute engine general repair and overhaul jobs onboard or at site.
- Knowledge on performing dismantling, repair, replacement and reassembling of mechanical parts
- To troubleshoot and advise repair proposals on breakdown and operation of the machinery in accordance with manufacturer’s specification.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in vessel maintenance is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
