MARINE SUPERINTENDENT ($5000-$7000/AWS/VB)ref: ML

$7K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: North

Responsibilities

• Acting as a Deputy DPA to support and assist in vessel monitoring.
• Assisting the General Manager in planning and materializing the requirements for crew changes.
• Ensuring vessels are able to perform their voyages and daily operations in compliance with Voyage Orders owner’s policy and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance of terminal operators and oil majors based on charterers’ requirements.
• Managing and arranging vetting inspections, including submissions onto the OCIMF SIRE online platform.
• Ability to carry out on board and / or remote pre-vetting inspections of the assigned vessels.
• Overseeing the vessels’ navigational matters, including review of passage plans and conducting navigation audits.
• Liaising and managing all Flag State and Port State relation matters.

Requirements

• Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with international and local maritime regulations and requirements is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
