Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Development, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s SMS and training program and to recommend subordinates to carry out such parts of this work. Delegate and monitor this work.
- Market research and investigations.
- To implement approved policies to keep the Marine Operations costs to minimum consistent with safe and efficient operations of the company’s vessels to meet the company’s standards and vessels requirements.
- Reporting all deficiencies or improvements and controlling and maintaining any changes necessary.
- Liaising with all concerned to collate and analyse all information related to safety, injuries and accidents and to ensure all necessary corrective measures are applied.
- The continuous review and monitoring of training policies ashore and onboard.
- All marine advice for allocated vessels.
- Monitoring and reporting on Masters’ performance of allocated vessels.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Chemical Tankers is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
