Responsibilities
- Promote and upsell company’s products & services to existing customers
- Attend to customers’ orders via email and telephone calls
- Process customers’ orders and ensure on-time delivery with accuracy
- Constant monitor and review inventory level while minimizing working capital investment
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure inventory is sufficient to meet customers’ orders
- Perform due diligence check on purchase order quantities, costs, notes and terms
- Review purchasing reports and system recommendations
- Ensures electronic data interchange (EDI), automated stock replenishment (ASR/VMI), emailed and faxed orders reach suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Inside sales/ sales support experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
