INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER ($5000-$6000/AWS/VB)ref: BT

$6K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: East

Responsibilities

• Complete projects and tasks independently and with limited direct supervision
• Work with application/project teams and 3rd party partners to Install, maintain and upgrade systems deployed as a part of the IT Infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents escalated to 3rdlevel support where IT Operations and 2nd level GCTs are not able to manage.
• Perform regular service reviews to identify potential issues and scope for improvements in the configuration or underlying infrastructure related to the infrastructure services.
• Provide operational support within the growing infrastructure environment, primarily in Microsoft Active Directory but with the potential to spread into other authentication provider systems.
• Act as a mentor and advisor to IT Operations and GCT support teams to facilitate fast incident resolution and project rollouts.
• Assist in creating and developing formal guidelines and work instructions to ensure appropriate systems support by colleagues, GCT and IT Operations.
• Assist in rollout and support of new technologies planned by the Infrastructure Architects.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience / knowledge in ITIL processes and standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
