Location: West
Responsibilities
- Manage port-to-door/ door-to-door freight operations for the assigned region, including the relevant shipping documentation and administration (invoice validation, document archiving, ERP management, etc.)
- Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of goods which includes regular orders and pre-orders, liaising directly with service providers to resolve operational challenges faced in-transit
- Collaborate with Freight team members to innovate around constraints & solutions
- Maintain strong communications with the wider organization, ensuring that relevant stakeholders are updated on Freight-related matters (Fulfilment, Marketing, Supply & Demand)
- Drive efficiency through the optimization and streamlining of processes and systems
- Collaborate with our Vendor Management team to actively raise & resolve issues with Vendors (e.g. failure to adhere to SOPs) or Products (e.g. shipping lanes set-up for various regions)
- Remain updated on the assigned region’s shipping and customs regulations
- Analyze and generate monthly operational reports while reporting directly to the Logistics Manager with action improvement plans
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor of Business Operations/ Supply Chain/ Logistics, or any other relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of the Shipping Incoterms (i.e FOB, DDP, DAP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
