Location: East
Responsibilities
- Work with global shipping partners to organise freight shipments
- Proactively engage shipping partners in RFQ, optimising shipping spend
- Work with customs clearance providers, manufacturers, customs and internal departments to ensure seamless customs clearance and minimise lead times and duties
- Work closely with production to ensure goods are collected on schedule
- Issue shipping documents (Shipping Instructions, Packing List and Commercial invoice) to freight forwarders
- Validate freight invoices to determine shipping charges and tariffs
- Track, follow up and update the status of all planned shipment and live shipments closely
- Escalate issues when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Shipping / Freight Forwarding/ Transportation Industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
