Location: East
Responsibilities
- Shall include performing hand or computer assisted calculations, creation of DVR packages for safety critical equipment, review and approval of engineering drawings, processing engineering design changes, interfacing with other departments, participating in Engineering Design Reviews and dispositioning NCRs.
- Additionally, this position is responsible for creating new product
- designs and/or improving existing product designs.
- Interacts with customers/suppliers/vendors and assists with development of technical specifications.
- Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
- Has fundamental understanding of various industry standards (both regional and global) in addition to recommended practices.
- Can direct and mentor younger, less experienced engineering personnel.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of connectors, diverters and mudlines is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
