CREDIT MANAGER ($4000-$6000/AWS/VB)ref: CS

$6K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location:  West

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer’s worthiness by research through various available sources and to recommend credit approval or disapproval to Management
• Continuously review credit limits for both in house guests and Ledger accounts
• Systematically follow up on collection of outstanding accounts in a manner that will yield the best timely results while maintaining good relations with the customer
• Analyze trends in Accounts Receivable balances or significant changes in payment patterns and to recap major collection problems for the monthly credit meeting
• Maintain ongoing detailed documentation of all collection efforts by accounts for future analysis of a customer’s worthiness and to serve as support in the event of a bad debt write-off
• Review all invoices prepared by Accounts Receivable and monitor payment
• Discuss credit arrangements for individual accounts with the Division Heads concerned and the Financial Controller
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Degree /professional qualifications in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or other relevant disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of the Trading Industry & External Market, Regulatory Compliance & Credit Risk Management is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
