CONSTRUCTION MANAGER ($8000-$14,000/AWS/VB)ref: CK

$14K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: East

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the project efficiently and effectively for the road and rail viaduct/bridge using the Balanced Cantilever method (BCM), Span by Span (SBS) method or/and any other methods
• Lead, oversee, manage, supervise and direct site staff and sub-contractors to execute the project in accordance with the design specifications/drawings, approve work methods, meet authorities’ requirements, and ensure on-time completion of the project
• Establish the quality management system, safety and risk management, time management, and cost planning for the construction activities
• Coordinate, take corrective actions, monitor the action taken, and update our client regularly
• Identify and address any site/project issues when it arises
• Liaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities to ensure proper coordination
• Oversee the planning and construction of the project, monitor the work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work program
• Provide guidance to the project team in relation to construction works to ensure progress is according to the schedule and maintain quality standard

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Civil engineering infrastructure project experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
