CARGO OPERATOR ($5000-$6500/AWS/VB)ref: AK

$6500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location:  West

Responsibilities

• Liaise with counterpart operators on cargo operational requirements as set out in deal contract between OGEST/OGHQ and counterparties, including preparation of Documentary Instruction, timely and accurate nominations, appointment of independent surveyors
• Work and cooperate closely with internal operators in OGEST, OGUK, OGHQ and other overseas offices, including coaching/mentoring junior cargo/shipping operators
• Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as trader, middle / back-office, shipping, technical etc. in OGEST, OGUK, OGHQ and other overseas offices
• Ensure the effective coordination of all parties in relation to load/discharge activities, to ensure compliance with regulation and effective implementation
• Ensure clauses in LNG SPAs, MSPAs or CMs accurately captured in relevant documents
• Entry of trade details in ETRM system
• Check calculations relating to the trade and make / assist in claims where necessary
• Create a checklist of cargo operations and record trading activities

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience using ETRM system is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
