CARGO OPERATIONS ASSISTANT ($2500-$5000/AWS/VB)ref: KT

$5K+ AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: CBD

Responsibilities

• Responsible for employing, training and deploying onboard cargo officers
• Follow up on the Company and charterers’ Quality Management for Bunker Supply Chain (QMBS) procedure
• Purchase, maintain and record the cargo equipment and send it for calibration for all ships
• Liaise with a charterer for operations matters, complaints and attend the monthly meetings
• Support cargo officers for all kinds of matters such as loading computers, stationery, fax, phone, etc
• Monitor, update and record the daily stock, preparation of monthly quarterly reports to send to the charterer
• Liaise with the onboard cargo officers on daily operations matters and problem handling
• Inspect the barges for cargo operation matters such as cargo quantity, audit, visitor, bunker operations, cargo equipment etc

Requirements

• Diploma in Marine Engineering / Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in bunker /cargo is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
