Location: East

Responsibilities

• Responsible for local and international buying of dietary supplements, natural remedies, personal care, organic/natural food & beverage and eco-friendly household cleaning products on behalf of the company.
• Analyze existing inventories, sales history and forecasts to make recommendations on inventory and replenishment planning.
• Achieve profitability targets through stock control, pricing policy and promotional activities.
• Working closely with sales personnel to ensure supply meets demand.
• Working closely with buying team to monitor brands performance and drive market share for in-house brands.
• Identifying new products that are in demand by retail/wholesale/online customers.
• Liaise with HSA or SFA regarding product evaluation, testing, labelling, registration and notification.
• Provide necessary information to freight forwarders for import permit declaration and customs clearance.

Requirements

• Degree in Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics/ Purchasing & Supply Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Purchasing / Merchandising/ Procurement is a plus.
• Good communication and negotiation skill
