ACCOUNTANT ($4000-$5000/AWS/VB)ref: VK

$5K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: CBD

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely submission of grant claims, preparation and analysis of quarterly forecasts, monitoring claims and utilisation to funding agencies with compliance to financial policies and regulations.
• Handle full or partial sets of accounts (Accounts Receivables and/or Accounts Payables) including reviewing of invoices, payments, receipts, and journals.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audit schedules.
• Manage the various audits and budgeting for the assigned grants.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and provide advice where necessary.
• Assist in the implementation of system enhancement, IT projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports as required by management
• Maintain proper inventory control

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy/Finance or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with Financial Reporting Standards, Tax Regulations & Companies Act.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
