ACCOUNTANT ($4000-$4500/AWS/VB)ref: DS

$4500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: East

Responsibilities

• Manage the Company’s finance and accounting matters including but not limiting to preparing and finalising the monthly and yearly accounts of the company’s subsidiaries
• Review the regular payments to creditors, ensure compliance with the company policy on payment terms and documentation before submit to Group Accountant / Accounts Manager and Director for approval
• Monitor and control debtor aging listing and ensure timely payment on outstanding accounts receivables
• Review all invoices, receipts and payment before closing of monthly accounts, ensure completeness and accuracy of the data entries in the accounting system
• Responsible for inventory closing, reconciliation and fixed asset management
• Check and post the transactions entered by junior accounting staff
• Check the trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss statement and supporting schedules required for monthly reports
• Assist in analysing monthly management account and report on the variance to Group Accountant / Accounts Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Singapore income tax rules, procedures and guidelines is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
