Responsibilities
- Sales Verification: Check daily sales recorded in the Point of Sale (POS) system against all modes of payments and verify sales receipts.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate discrepancies and collaborate closely with operations to resolve issues related to sales and payments.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track the company’s revenue.
- Statement of Account (SOA) and Aging Report: Prepare monthly SOA and aging reports to keep track of outstanding customer balances.
- Debtor Follow-up: Monitor and closely follow up with debtors on overdue payments to ensure timely collections.
- Invoicing: Raise tax invoices, debit notes, and intercompany billing documents.
- Intercompany Reconciliation: Reconcile transactions and accounts with other entities within the company group.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements related to Accounts Receivable transactions to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the SUN accounting system and My Micros POS system is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
