5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours
Location: West
Responsibilities
- Source and purchase goods for direct and indirect materials based on MRP requirements and forecast
- Issue PO to supplier at the right MOQ and price with sufficient lead-time
- Source new qualified supplier according to customer specification and drawings
- Negotiate and obtain best quote from supplier
- Manage rejects and replacement
- Negotiate on quarterly cost reduction and lead-time review
- Source for alternative material
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Diploma in Purchasing Management / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in manufacturing environment and MRP system is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
