SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ($4500-$5200/AWS/VB)ref: SC

$5200 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: West

Responsibilities

• Work with process and control owners to ensure timely review and updates to process documentation, evaluation of processes and systems, process improvement, data analysis and teaming with project implementation teams for new/ system upgrade
• Provide business process owners with recommendations to improve the relevant internal control deficiencies and ensuring remediation plans are appropriately developed and timely implemented
• Provide advisory support to the business process owners in timely and adequate completion of the Control Self Assessments
• Explore and optimizing Order to Cash process in order to eliminates inefficiencies and can produce benefits seen throughout the entire business.
• Liaise with internal audit and external audit teams to communicate methodology and determine process scoping, control objectives, testing approach, deficiency evaluation, and reporting of deficiencies
• Support ongoing internal control efforts and global initiatives
• Ensure strict compliance and adhere to Accounting Policies, IFRS, and Internal Control Measures
• Assist the team on any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Business Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with Financial Reporting Standards, Tax Regulations & Companies Act.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
