Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive fire safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential fire hazards. - Provide training to staff on fire prevention techniques, emergency response procedures, and proper use of fire safety equipment.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee fire safety drills and exercises to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Investigate fire incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of fire safety inspections, training sessions, and emergency response drills.
- Keep abreast of changes in fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate fire safety measures into overall organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
