Location: North
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual financial performance against the budget and provide analysis and recommendations for improving financial results.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, and variance analysis. Identify trends, assess financial risks and opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and prevent fraud. Assess risks and implement control procedures to mitigate those risks.
- Interact with internal stakeholders, including the directors, project managers, and department heads, to provide financial information and analysis. Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Assess and manage financial risks, such as project-related risks, liquidity risk, and market risk. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the financial stability and sustainability of the organization.
- Prepare reports as required by management
- Maintain proper inventory control
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial regulations, and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
