Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Risk Management in the implementation of the overall company Risk Management Framework (policies, procedures and methodologies);
- Assist the Head of Risk Management in assessing risks facing the Company, mainly in the area of credit risk, and implement appropriate trading restrictions and risk mitigation measures;
- Responsible for daily monitoring of the credit status of the counterparties, timely reporting adverse situations to relevant departments and Management, reporting any overdue balances, credit insurance and market movements to the Management on a timely basis;
- Responsible for the management of trading counterparty credit limit and credit insurance, effectively collect market information, timely deactivation of unqualified trading counterparty and reduction of excess credit limit, and liaise with insurance company for sufficient credit insurance coverage;
- Propose effective credit risk mitigation measures when the credit exposure exceeds the counterparty’s credit limits, in order to control the credit exposure within the credit risk framework approved by the company’s board of directors and management;
- Responsible for the effective credit evaluation of the company’s (and the subsidiaries) counterparties, in accordance to the credit framework approved by the board of Directors and management, as well as recommendation of the corresponding credit terms for each counterparty;
- Responsible for maintaining the policy for counterparty guarantee (non-financing), and liaising with the relevant departments to ensure that the policy is up to date. Responsible for liaising with relevant departments to carry out evaluation of counterparty guarantee received by the company or subsidiaries, and follow up of relevant monitoring work;
- Assist the Credit Risk Manager to maintain the policy for counterparty guarantee (non-financing), and liaising with the relevant departments to ensure that the policy is up to date;
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent;
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Credit Risk Management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
