NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER ($3800-$4500/AWS/VB)ref: SH

$4500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: CBD

Responsibilities

• Upgrade, configure, troubleshoot and maintain IT infrastructure and its services including network infrastructure and device management.
• Improve and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
• Identify and define systems security requirements.
• Assess security risks in relation to new projects and initiatives
• Assess impacts of network upgrades on applications and coordinate with the applications team on server and network upgrades to ensure compatibility
• Test and perform upgrades, installation and application of patches, firmware and latest drivers to the network infrastructure, servers, operating and software systems.
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Provide support for server as well as network related administration or issues.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with Cloud technologies and administration is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
