Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage important business opportunities such as sales, projects, consulting, engagements, partnership,
- Direct and control the engineering and technical operations of the organisation in consultation with other managers and professionals to ensure that standard quality cost safety and performance are observed and that time schedules are met
- Plan engineering methods, policies and procedures
- Liaise with quality control staff to set quality standards for the efficient functioning of plant and equipment.
- Coordinate the activities of the engineering function and encourage the exchange of information, ideas and techniques in the various engineering fields
- Lead, guide, evaluate and develop a team of engineering managers with design engineering responsibilities to ensure that the organisation achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws
- Identify, evaluate and purchase materials that meet internal and external quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations, licenses and certifications
- To facilitate commercial, financial and technical information among the team members to ensure consistency in strategies and proposal as a whole.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experiences in relevant oil /gas maintenance field is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
