AUTOMATION DESIGN ENGINEER ($3500-$4200/AWS/VB)ref: SS

$4200 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: Central

Responsibilities

• Prepare material requisition lists for job requirements.
• Plan and design consoles and automation programs for Power Management System, Alarm Monitoring System, Automation System according to customer’s requirements
• Prepare approval drawings, shop drawings, final drawings / documents, short circuit calculations, instruction manuals as required for submission to clients and shop floor production.
• Co-ordinate with clients and consultants on the technical requirements. Attend technical discussions with clients and consultants when required.
• Feedback to Sales & Marketing Department on the changes of technical requirements by clients for claims of additional costs and time.
• Check and follow-up on design and shop drawings with production departments.
• Simulate test automation programs and follow-up on program design with QA departments.
• Develop and improve on design of consoles and automation system.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PLC is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
