AUTOMATION ENGINEER ($2700-$4000/AWS/VB)ref: ML

$4K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: North

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house automation projects on layout, build, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and production equipment.
• Design, implement and test automated machines, programs, jig and fixtures to required job specification in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and interface problems, maintaining the system to ensure full functionality and reliability.
• Setting up of new machines, transferring of equipment from customers and integration to existing line.
• Participate in design for manufacturability (DFM) and FMEA review on part designs for automation, moldability and manufacturability.
• Ensure proper engineering documents as per TS169439.
• Assembly process study and line balancing.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in AutoCad, solidwork or UG, pneumatic equipment, and electrical diagram is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
