Responsibilities
- Oversee all IT technology operations (e.g., computer systems, network security) and evaluate them according to established goals.
- Manage, supervise, audit, and evaluate IT security controls for regional subsidiaries.
- Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies.
- Analyze the business requirements of all departments (e.g., sales, purchasing, production control, project management, inventory management, accounting, finance) to determine their technology needs.
- Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
- Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
- Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians, and other professionals to provide guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Visual Basic, C++ and Java is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
