Responsibilities
- The Utility Section Manager reports to the Production Manager with the responsibility and liaise with all Utility personals.
- Ensure that all discharge i.e. effluent and emission meets the local regulatory requirement.
- Ensure that all operating equipment i.e. Boilers, Receivers etc. are well maintained and meet the local regulatory requirement.
- Study present work flow and to continuously improved operation methods, equipment performance and quality of work.
- Ensure that the SOP for all Waste Water Treatment, Waste Gas Treatment, and Utility processes are strictly observed by all personnel.
- Assist in the planning and monitoring of operation schedules and materials requirements.
- Monitor and liaise with respective Sections for all abnormal utility usage or abnormal waste discharge.
- Ensure that Waste Water Treatment, Waste Gas Treatment, and Utility are operating smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Familiar with Environmental Safety and Health regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
