Location: West
Responsibilities
- Set objectives for and manage multiple projects/ ongoing work activities of moderate complexity within the Operating Unit.
- Lead, direct and coach the operations and changeover teams in manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), including developing and communicating objectives, setting priorities, development plans and managing performance.
- Participate and contribute to the design of the plant equipment, water system, tank farm, utilities and waste management.
- Participate and contribute to changeover cleaning equipment layout and provide cleanability input to the design of the plant equipment.
- Ensure that the systems are in a constant state of regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
- Conduct statistical analyses of testing results and process anomalies.
- Write documentation for new and current validation procedures and technical reports.
- Develop and assure compliance for in-process laboratories including equipment qualification and method transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Operational Excellence techniques (Six Sigma, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
