QUALITY TECHNICIAN ($2000-$2500/AWS/VB)ref: SC

$2500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: CBD

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of products, partially assembled or finished products.
• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing done during incoming, outgoing and in-process inspection
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to QA Manager
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Maintain all controlled document files and FA & Inspection records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs other tasks as may be required by immediate superior.
• Observe safety and housekeeping during day-to-day failure analysis activities.
• Observe and meet cycle time for all products for Analysis.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in production /manufacturing /environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
