Responsibilities
- Responsible for electronics design. Designs schematic of digital, mix signal and power electronics that meet requirements.
- Provides design rules and layout guidelines, including schematics capture and printed circuit board layout design documents.
- Designs embedded systems including A/D, D/A, high speed Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processors (DSP), FPGA, I/O communications (CAN, SPI, I2C, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, and others.), memory.
- Diagnoses issues, understanding of typical failure in digital/mixed signal circuits and troubleshoot designs.
- Identify and communicate potential risks with appropriate mitigations and evaluate requirements on performance, quality, time, and/or cost.
- Design products to meet EMC compliance certification and safety requirements.
- Maintain proper inventory control
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics / Electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- C/C++ programming experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
