Location: East
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the site safety team and subcontractors in the implementation of company’s safety systems.
- Liaise closely with site operations staff and project manager on all safety and health issues.
- To supervise safety and promote safety conduct.
- To inspect and rectify any unsafe place of work.
- To correct any unsafe practice;
- Conduct regular safety inspection/audits to identify safety and health hazards and conduct safety gap analysis.
- Assist in accident reporting and investigations as well as tool-box meetings.
- Assist in all areas of safety planning and incident prevention.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Environment/Health/Safety or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge in ISO OHSAS 45001 and ISO 14001 is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
