5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours
Location: East
Responsibilities
- To manage the technical issue of the vessels ensures optimum vessel performance
- Evaluate and monitor the required reporting from the vessels, act as required
- Arrange and follow up repairs and services / dry dock /class requirement / safety
- Coordinate with the assigned vessels and prepare the dry docking specification
- Conduct vessels inspection
- To carry out Incident / near miss investigation as required.
- To review the minutes of the shipboard safety committee meetings / Masters Review.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Diploma in Navigation/shipping qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of maritime Engine Room and Deck machinery and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
